As the field of oncology continues to evolve, patients and healthcare providers alike are exploring innovative approaches to complement conventional cancer treatments to enhance overall well-being and treatment outcomes. One such modality gaining attention is Ozone Therapy, which harnesses the power of ozone (O3) to support cancer patients during their journey to recovery.
Understanding Ozone Therapy
Ozone Therapy is a holistic approach that involves the controlled administration of ozone gas to the body. This therapy has been used for various medical conditions and has garnered interest in the context of cancer care due to its potential benefits. Ozone, composed of three oxygen atoms, can be administered in various forms, including:
- Major Auto-hemotherapy (MAH): Experience a systemic immune boost as we withdraw, ozone-enrich, and reinfuse your blood, enhancing your body's defenses.
- Ozone Insufflation: Ozone gas can be introduced into body cavities, such as the rectum (rectal insufflation) or the ear canal (ear insufflation). This method is often used to target specific areas affected by cancer or to address related symptoms.
The Potential Benefits
While research on Ozone Therapy in cancer care is ongoing, some potential benefits have been reported, including:
- Immune System Support : Ozone therapy is thought to stimulate the immune system, helping the body better recognize and fight cancer cells.
- Oxygenation : Ozone therapy may improve oxygen delivery to tissues, which can be beneficial as cancer cells thrive in low-oxygen environments.
- Detoxification : Some proponents believe that ozone therapy supports detoxification, potentially reducing the side effects of conventional cancer treatments.
- Pain Management: Ozone therapy may help alleviate pain and improve the overall quality of life for cancer patients.
- Enhanced Well-being: Patients often report feeling more energized and experiencing an improved sense of well-being after ozone therapy sessions
WHAT MISTLETOE
THERAPY LOOKS LIKE
After a detailed patient evaluation and individualized treatment plan, it may be revealed that
mistletoe therapy is a viable solution for you. Treatment can begin as early as just after a diagnosis
or before a scheduled surgery. However, it can still be effective later in the process.

INFUSIONS vs. HOME INJECTIONS
Mistletoe therapy is a long-term path that is most effective when overseen by a qualified practitioner. The cornerstone of therapy is subcutaneous injections done at home. We will teach you how to do injections during your first appointment in the office. Most of our patients find this easy to do with our guidance and support. Infusions are recommended for some patients in addition to subcutaneous injections based on the type of cancer and its severity or progression. Our experienced infusion nurse prioritizes the safety and comfort of our patients throughout their experience with us
THERAPY DURATION
The duration of treatment depends on several factors,
including the type of cancer, its severity or progression, and
how well the body responds to mistletoe treatments.

MISTLETOE FOR OUT OF TOWN PATIENTS
We are happy to provide care for patients visiting from out of town with a short term intensive schedule of Mistletoe infusions and other modalities for 2-8 weeks while creating a program that can be maintained at home or with intermittent visits to us when needed based on imaging and lab results. We provide access to discounted local accommodations and resources to connect you with healthy local food options.
THE BENEFITS OF HELLEBORUS THERAPY
Helleborus Niger, or Christmas Rose, has been used in integrative cancer care since the early 1900s. It’s scope has expanded to encompass aggressive metastatic tumors and it can be used with Mistletoe or on it’s own/
